Girls basketball
Bethany beats Bremen
Bethany Christian outscored host Bremen 31-20 in the second half to rally back from a tenuous one-point deficit at the half, and the Lady Bruins earned their third straight win with a 52-42 victory over the host Lady Lions Thursday night.
Bremen was led by Sara Slabaugh’s nine points just six days after the junior guard dropped 26 in the Lions’ first win of the year versus Knox last Friday.
Megan Stouder and Ashley Lucchese each finished with eight in the loss, which drops Bremen to 1-10.
Bethany was paced by Natalie Thorne’s 18 points, while Hanna Hochstetler scored 14, and Laken Richer finished with 10 for the Bruins, who moved to 5-9.

Girls bowling
Argos tops New Prairie
Argos’ girls bowling team moved to 6-3 with a win over New Prairie, 17-3.
Brittani Brown rolled a 178 for the high game for the Lady Dragons in game one, while Jamie Ewing paced Argos with a 175 in the second game.
The team will bowl next against Mishawaka on Jan. 5 at Chippewa Bowl.

Boys bowling
Dragons fall to Washington
The Dragons boys bowling team lost to Washington 17-3 recently.
Juan Fajardo rolled a 121 to lead Argos in the first game, while Noah Duff led his team with a 134 in game two.
The Dragons will resume their season against Mishawaka on Jan. 5 at Chippewa Bowl.
