Boys basketball
Triton drops 2nd straight
Clay Yeo and Tanner Shepherd gave Triton a one-two punch, but the Trojans lost their second straight on the road at NorthWood Friday, 66-62.
Clay Yeo scored 31 points, and Tanner Shepherd chipped in 21 for Triton, which slipped to 1-2.
Jonathon Wilinson and Zach Zurcher collected 24 and 18 points, respectively for NorthWood, which saw six players score and opened at 1-0.

Balanced Redskins beat Bremen
Four players finished in double figures for Goshen, and the Redskins beat Bremen 74-55 Friday night.
Ethan Pike finished with a game-high 29 for the Lions, who slipped to 1-2 on the year.
Goshen was led by Sam Stegelmann’s 18 and Austin Henke’s 17.

Falcons fall vs Concord
Concord ran out to a 58-14 halftime lead, and the Minutemen opened their season with a 93-40 rout of host John Glenn.
Calvin Kretchmer scored a team-high 12 to lead the Falcons, who remained winless at 0-4.
Concord was paced by Filip Serwatka’s game-high 21 points.

Satellites shoot past OD
South Central knocked down 6-of-8 3-pointers — including four during a 22-9 second quarter — and the Satellites handed visiting Oregon-Davis a 71-57 defeat Friday night.
Dalton Taylor, Blake Hurford and Zach Johnston each scored 10 points, and Joel Worthington finished with nine for the balanced Bobcats, but it wasn’t enough for the win as the team fell to an 0-3 start.
Adam Clindaniel powered South Central with 22 points.

Girls basketball
CGA wins 3rd straight
Victoria Christlieb scored 16 points, and the Lady Eagles won the first first game of their trip to Ohio, 44-36 versus Western Reserve Friday.
Andrijana Cvitkovic chipped in nine, while Rita Zambon scored eight and Jamie Madison tallied seven for Culver Girls Academy, which won its third straight.
Western Reserve was paced by Nicky Waldeck’s game-high 22.

Freshman boys basketball
Pilgrims win opener
The Plymouth freshmen boys basketball team defeated Goshen in their season opener at Goshen Thursday night, 42-30.
Braydon Davidson scored a team-leading 20 points on the strength of on 4-of-5 shooting from behind the arc, while Matt Friar had 13 points, and Sam Stone chipped in eight for the Pilgrims.
Plymouth moves to 1-0 on the year and will continue its season against Penn at home on Monday.

8th grade boys basketball
Lincoln beats Argos
Lincoln’s eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Argos Wednesday night, 33-27.
The game featured tough defense by both teams and was ultimately decided in the fourth quarter.  
John Gerrard led Lincoln with 12 points, six steals and four rebounds. Ryan Carmichael added 10 points for the victors.

7th grade boys basketball
Lincoln 7th wins
The Lincoln seventh grade boys basketball team beat Argos Wednesday night 35-14.
The Red Storm started out hot and led 16-0 after a quarter of action. They held Argos to five total points in the second and third quarters and coasted to the easy victory.  
Dylan Powell led all scores with eight points for Lincoln, while Kadin McCrammer added seven for the winners.
