Bremen loses regular season-closer
Bremen lost its regular-season closer to host Mishawaka Monday, 25-16, 25-17, 25-19.
Brooke Baker led the team in kills with seven kills, an ace and three blocks, while Alli Shorter set 12 assists with an ace and three blocks, Morgan Smith registered eight digs and an ace, and Brooke Fitch also had eight digs for the Lady Lions, who fell to 11-20.
Bremen will face host Westview Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Class 2A Westview Sectional.

Knox drops Senior Night contest
Knox lost a three-set decision to visiting Logansport on Senior Night at Knox Monday, 25-22, 25-18, 25-19.
Hannah Folkers put down 14 kills with 24 digs, and Kaitlin Zachary had 12 kills with three blocks for the Lady Redskins. Chelsea Collins finished iwht a balanced five kills, three aces and four blocks, while Nikki Frasure set 30 assists, and Madison Whiles led in defensive passing with 34 digs.
Knox will be back in action in sectional play at the Class 3A Rensselear Sectional against Hanover Central this Thursday night at 6 p.m. CST.
