Plymouth wins 10th straight
Plymouthâ€™s volleyball team responded after a loss in the extended opening set, and the Lady Pilgrims earned a big four-game Northern Lakes Conference win over visiting Concord on Breast Cancer Awareness Night at the Rock,26-28, 25-19, 25-18, 25-16.
Amber Redinger and Marissa German each tallied 13 kills, and Carly Baker finished with eight for Plymouth. Redinger also notched six blocks ahead of Hunter Stevensâ€™ three, while Haley Harrell set 37 assists with 14 digs, Mikayla German passed out 16 digs, and Emily Eveland finished with 14 digs in a strong team defensive effort for the Pilgrims, who won their 10th straight.
Plymouth moves to 18-12 overall with a 5-2 conference mark.

Bremen bounces back
Bremen bounced back from a tough conference loss Monday night with a three-game win over host South Bend Clay Tuesday, 25-20, 25-15, 25-23.
Brooke Baker and Cassie Sears each finished with eight kills, while Chelsea Huppert served up four aces, and Morgan Smith tallied three.
Baker and Huppert each recorded four blocks, and Sabrina Gilley led the Lady Lions in setting with 25 assists on the night.

CGA earns 20th win vs Argos
Culver Girls Academy moved to 20 wins on the year with a three-game win over visiting Argos Tuesday, 25-8, 25-20, 25-7.
The Lady Eagles were led at the net by Pita Nacarroâ€™s 11 kills with two blocks, while Katy Bjornson served up six aces with 10 kills. Paige Baldacci finished with four aces and 27 assists, and Abby Jeffirs recorded two aces and eight digs.
Leading Argos, Kelsey Kring was 21 of 26 passing and Kirsten Ringer was 17 of 20 passing, while Sabrina Brown was 10 of 14 serving and Kring was 8 of 12.

Triton loses in 3
Triton fell in three games on the road at Wawasee Tuesday, 25-13, 25-20, 25-20.
Breanna Lemler led the Lady Trojans in kills with six to go along with a block, while Emily Koontz finished with five kills and an ace. Marissa Ross dished out 15 assists with a block, and Shana Anderson recorded nine digs and an ace.

8th grade volleyball
Red Storm wins
On Monday the Red Storm eighth grade volleyball team traveled to Warsaw Edgewood, winning in two games in their regular-season closer.
Leading Lincoln in the match were L.J. Singleton in serving, setting and hitting, Allie Dennie in serving and hitting, Emily Hoffer in serving, Kennedy Snyder in passing, Ashley Harrell in setting, and Anna Bockman and Nicole Horvath in hitting.
The Red Storm ended the season at 20-2 and will begin conference play on Wednesday.
Bremen clinches conference
On Tuesday night the Bremen eighth grade volleyball team won its conference with a close victory over New Prairie, 25-24 25-21. All nine Lady Lion players contributed to the hard-fought victory.
The conference-clinching victory comes after a 25-12, 25-3 win over Culver Monday night, featuring great serving by Tricia Moser and Josie Detweiler, as well as a third-place result at the Fairfield Tourney over the weekend, highlighted by great serving and stellar net play from Lacy Bennit.
7th grade volleyball
Bremen seventh splits two matches
The Bremen seventh grade volleyball team lost a match to New Prairie Tuesday, 25-18, 25-18, coming up short in a hard-fought match.
The loss comes on the heels of a 25-17, 25-8 win over Culver Monday.
The Lady Lions are away at Tippecanoe Valley on Thursday.

Chargers slip in OT at Cincinnati
The Ancilla menâ€™s soccer lost a tight contest at Cincinnati State Technical, falling in the first overtime period with a 3-2 loss.
The loss was a step in the right direction for the Chargers, who were defeated 6-0 in their last match with Cincinnati State Tech. The game also marked the sixth OT match by Ancilla this season.
Brandon Query had a lightning strike from 25 yards away with his left foot that gave the Chargers a 1-0 lead. Cincinnati countered quickly with two goals to take the lead. Ignacio Avilles hit a first-time shot from 30 yards out to bring the Chargers back, but Cincinnati finished its first opportunity of the overtime to take the game.
The Chargerâ€™s next match is scheduled at home tomorrow against Jackson Community College at 4 p.m. at Charger field.
