Red Cross leaving Plymouth to relocate in Argos
ARGOS — Marshall County Red Cross is looking for a new home and representative Carol Arnett proposed using available space in Argos at the town council meeting Wednesday.
Arnett informed the board she recieved a phone call the past Friday from her superior in which she was informed the Red Cross Chapter House on Garro St. in Plymouth will be shut down. The Red Cross Marshall/Fulton Chapter has to vacate the house by July 21.
Arnett asked the council if the former Argos Library could be considered as a possible location. Arnett proposed that the board allow use of the library as the new Red Cross Marshall County location or at least as a temporary storage space for the time being until better accommodations could be made.
