Police looking for suspect

ELKHART — Elkhart police are looking for any information on the man who robbed Mutual Bank Sept. 24 — especially his whereabouts.
At approximately 2:50 p.m. officers from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department responded to a bank robbery at Mutual Bank, 25990 C.R. 6 in Elkhart. The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid 40s, with brown hair, a receding hairline, blue eyes , and a goatee.
He was wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery. The suspect has an unknown tattoo on his neck. During the robbery he offered a note and displayed a handgun. At this time it is unknown how much currency was taken. He was last seen headed south on Johnson Street.
