Man brings drugs to meeting with probation officer
PLYMOUTH — A Nappanee man was jailed Dec. 21 after he allegedly brought synthetic marijuana and paraphernalia to a meeting with his probation officer.
The Marshall County Probation office called in a report at 2:50 p.m. that David Skaggs, 28, Nappanne had come to meet with his probation officer and he had paraphernalia.
They also found what they believed to be synthetic marijuana.
Skaggs was placed under arrest and transported to Marshall County Jail.

Natural causes ruled cause of death for trucker
PLYMOUTH — Marshall County Corner Bill Cleavenger released information Thursday on the death of the truck driver at the Pilot Truck Stop.   Toxicology results have been obtained on the body of Bruce Garrett of Pittsburgh, who was found dead in the cab of his semi-truck at the Pilot Truck Stop in Plymouth on Tuesday, December 11th.
Cleavenger said that Garrett died of natural causes from pre-existing medical conditions.  Toxicology tests were negative for drugs or alcohol.
The coroner has ruled the case closed due to natural death.
