Plymouth Police Chief: Shooting of dog considered justified

June 4, 2014

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Police Patrolman who fired three shots at a dog acted in accordance with policy, Police Chief David Bacon told the Pilot News Tuesday.

Department police provides for the use of force when an animal is endangering the officer or others. The same dog was the subject of four other complaints to the department.
