November 9, 2011

HAMMOND — Plymouth grad Alex Starr and Purdue University Calumet teammate Kami Graber were rewarded for their impressive performances in the Sleep Inn Tip-Off Classic last week, as each selected to the All-Classic team.
Starr averaged 22.5 points per game in the classic, including Friday’s game-high 25 points in the Black and Gold’s rout of Midway. She finished the weekend with six trifectas, including a clutch trey in the final minute of regulation to help force overtime against No. 4 Shawnee State.
