JASPER — Plymouth High School graduate and Ancilla College signee Chase Peters participated in the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association’s 38th annual North-South All-Star Series at Alvin C. Ruxer Field in Jasper July 14-15.
Peters finished 3-for-6 at the plate with two stolen bases as his North team went 2-1 against the South squad at the series, winning 4-3 and 14-10 in the doubleheader July 14 and falling by a close 2-1 margin in the wooden bat game July 15.
Peters scored the first run of game one to put the North on top early and his fifth inning double accounted for two of his team’s four runs in the narrow win. During the wooden bat game he went 1-for-3 officially as he singled, walked and was hit by a pitch.
