Pick-up hauling cattle crashes under semi

February 21, 2012

Firemen check inside the hauler and see that the five to six cattle inside are standing and seemingly unharmed in this two-truck crash Tuesday around noon at the intersection of US 6 and 31.

A pick-up truck with Michigan plates carrying several cattle crashed into a semi at the U.S. 6 and 31 intersection in LaPaz just before noon today.
The semi driver was uninjured and the pick-up driver was flown from the scene via Medflight for his injuries. LaPaz-North Township fire captain Matt Haskins said the driver of the pick-up was conscious and talking, but had injuries to his extremities. Find detailed information in tomorrow's Pilot News.
