WALKERTON — Phyllis A. Zehner, 70, of Walkerton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at 8:08 a.m., at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. 
Phyllis was born July 5, 1942, in Plymouth, to Elmer and LaVerne (Holmquist) Holm. She married Jerry Zehner on Sept. 2, 1961. Phyllis worked for the United States Postal Service, out of the Walkerton Post Office, as a rural mail carrier, for 27 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge #865 of Tyner. She had lived, in Marshall County, all her life.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, of 51 years, Jerry Zehner; their daughters, Pam (Scott) Butler of Fishers and Patty (Billy) Cole of Niles, Mich.; and their son, Jeff (Sandi) Zehner of Walkerton. Phyllis is also survived by seven grandchildren; three sisters, Adele Shinholt of Van Buren, Arlene (Harold) Keb of Plymouth, and Jacqueline (John) VanderVelden of Walkerton; and her brother, Eugene (Phyllis) Holm of San Mateo, Calif.
