Officials seek help in finding missing teen

WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a missing 18 –year-old and asking for the community’s help.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies responded Sunday, August 19 to the Suburban Acres Mobile Home Park in reference to a missing female adult. Officers spoke with family members who stated that Aurora Shoemaker, 18, 3699 N. County Road 175 East, Warsaw, had left the residence on Thursday, August 16 to go for a walk and never returned home.
Shoemaker was last seen near the time of 4 p.m. and attempts to contact her via her cellular phone have been unsuccessful. Shoemaker is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall with short blonde hair. She also has green eyes, a thin frame and piercings on her lip.
Even though she is an adult, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department is asking citizens to assist with any information. Tips can be called in on the anonymous line at 574-372-2494 or the regular line at 574-267-5667.
