New coordinator for Bremen Chamber

BREMEN — The Bremen Chamber of Commerce recently hired a replacement for former part-time employee Larry Balsley who left the coordinator position at the end of July.
Jennifer Mann, a LaVille High School alum, has taken his place. “There were four people that applied,” explained the Chamber’s president Bill Davis. “It was her outgoing nature that really stood out from the others.”
Mann married Brian Mann (a Bremen High School graduate) and the couple has four children: Cassandra, 18; Thomas, 15; Madie, 9; and Megyn, 7. They are members of Bremen United Methodist Church.
“I’ve always been in customer service and supportive roles, sales and administrative work,” she said. “I saw they were looking for a new Chamber coordinator on Facebook. My experience and the job description matched with my skills so I applied.”
Mann’s first day was Monday, Aug. 27.
“I was excited,” she said of her learning she had gotten the position. “I’m not from here so it’s exiting to meet new people from the community and get to know everyone. I’ll be dealing with people and businesses and trying to get new Chamber members.”
To learn more or to contact Mann, email, call her at 574-546-2044 or visit the Chamber website or Facebook page. The Bremen Chamber of Commerce meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:30 a.m.
