Name released of subject wanted in pursuit

On December 11, 2012 at 10:15, Marshall County Deputies attempted to serve a Fulton County felony warrant on William R. Newman. William Newman led Marshall County Deputies in a vehicle pursuit that ended in the area of 4th and Rose road. The suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Marshall County Deputies with the assistance the Indiana State Police, Walkerton PD, Starke County Deputies, and Laporte County Deputies, set up a perimeter and began tracking the suspect with the assistance of the Marshall County K9 and an ISP K9. At this time, the suspect has not been located.

William R. Newman is a 42 year old white male whith thinning grey/black hair. He was last seen wearing a grey plaid hoodie.
