N. Judson Library’s owl needs your naming idea

November 30, 2010

NORTH JUDSON – Time is growing short to enter the North Judson-Wayne Township Library's “Name the Owl” contest.
The library received the owl about a year ago from Dorothy Hansen. It had originally belonged to her husband, Lavelle Hansen. Since that time the owl has been sitting in a window (have you noticed him?) keeping an eye on things.
Of course, it could be a she, staffers wouldn’t know how to tell the difference. But the library is going to leave that decision up to the public in the “Name the Owl” contest.
To enter just come to the library and fill out a slip (or two or three), or send your suggestions via e-mail, norjud.lib@gmail.com, or visit the library on Facebook. If you use e-mail or Facebook sure to include your name and phone number so library staff can contact you if your name is chosen.
Deadline is Dec. 11 to submit suggestions. The library will be announcing his or her name around Dec. 16.
