Monopoly Tournament Feb. 11 at PPL

PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Public Library is hosting a Monopoly Tournament Friday, Feb. 11 for students in grades sixth through twelfth. There is no cost to attend. Prizes will be awarded and pizza, pop and snacks will be served. Register before Thursday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. in person at 201 N. Center St. or online at www.plymouth.lib.in.us.
The schedule is as follows:
10:15 to 10:45 — Sign in. (You must sign in by 10:45 a.m. to play.)
10:45 to 11:00 — Table assignments and rules explained
11:00 to 12:30 — Semi-finals
12:30 to 1 — Eat and tabulate scores
1 to 2:30 — Finals and consolation games
2:30 to 3 — Awards Ceremony
Games will be played by official, long-game rules, but with a 90-minute time limit. The player with the highest total assets at the end of the round is the winner. Consolation games will be played with other board games.
Tournament winner receives a $50 gift card at Walmart.
All participants will be entered in a drawing to receive a new board game.
This Monopoly Tournament is sponsored by The Friends of the Library and the Plymouth Public Library Young Adult Department.
