Mishawaka man ID'd in hotel death

September 14, 2012

BREMEN — Marshall County Coroner William Cleavenger released the name of the 43-year-old man found dead in a room at the Bremen Inn in Bremen at approximately 9:45 p.m. Wednesday evening.
David S. Miller, 43, of Mishawaka was found dead in his room Wednesday night after another guest had gone to Miller’s room to talk with him.
An autopsy was conducted Thursday in Misawaka by Dr. Joseph Prahlow, a board certified Forensic Pathologist, who could find no evidence of foul play.
Toxicology and tissue samples were obtained and the results could be some weeks away as to what exactly caused Miller’s death.
The investigation will be ongoing and conducted by the coroner and the Bremen Police Department.
Further information will be released after evaluation of any new evidence.
The coroner strongly believes drugs and alcohol were contributing factors.
Millers’ body was released to a Mishawaka Funeral home Thursday afternoon.
