Ministerial Association teams up with FCDC to provide summer lunches

NAPPANEE — Throughout the month of June, the Nappanee Ministerial Association and the Family Christian Development Center have been working together to provide area youth with nutritional lunches, fun activities and a biblical lesson through the Summer Lunch Program. It was the Come to the Table fundraiser item at the 2013 dinner auction.
Youth of any age can visit West Park Pavilion in Nappanee from 11:30 a.m. — 1 p.m.
The ministerial association will only be participate until the end of June, though, so get out there this week to get your bible-study on! The week's leader is Pastor Jeff Williams of the Nappanee Brethren in Christ Church.
Throughout the month of July, the Summer Lunch Program will continue to provide lunches for youth from noon to 12:30 p.m. each weekday.
The Summer Lunch Program was created to ensure that children in Nappanee could continue to receive nutritious meals during the long school vacation, when they may not have access to lunch. It provide nutritious and free meals to children 18 and younger during the months of June and July.
