ARGOS — Mary Ellen Trump, 91, of Argos died March 15, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, following a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 2, 1922 in Walnut to Lawrence and Mary (Biddinger) Bodey. She lived her whole life in the Argos community.
On Dec. 13, 1941 she married Allen O. Trump, sharing the last 71 years together.
She was a seamstress at Hart, Schaffner, & Marx in Rochester for 8 1/2 years and then worked in Meat Processing at Price Abattoir.
She was a member of the Argos Wesleyan Church of Argos. She was also a charter member of the Argos Wesleyan Church.
She was a graduate of Argos High School class of 1940 were she had perfect attendance all 12 years of school.
She is survived by sons, Harvey Trump and wife Lois of Argos; Marion Trump and wife Carol of Seattle, Wash.; Ray Trump and friend Marcia Honkomp of Argos; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons – Ronald Allen Trump and Merlyn Trump, sisters – Frances Lowe and Wilma Jean Alderfer, and foster daughter – Melinda Williams.
Friends visited with the family Monday, March 18, 2013 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday March 19, 2013 at the Argos Wesleyan Church, 401 N. Michigan St., Argos, officiated by Rev. Brian Trump of the Argos Wesleyan Church.
Burial is at Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Argos.
Memorial contributions may be made to Argos Wesleyan Church, 401 N. Michigan St., Argos.
