Marshall County Democrats hold annual dinner
LAPAZ — The annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner hosted by Marshall County Sunday brought a former Congressman now Senator, a state representative and a legislative aid for the department of public instruction to the area.
Senator Joe Donnelly was the keynote speaker, with state rep David Niezgodski also attending. John Barnes, who is the legislative aid of Department of Education Superintendent Glenda Ritz was also on hand to talk about the challenges the only Democrat elected to state office in Indiana faces.
About 75 people attended the event.
