PLYMOUTH â€” Marshall County Extension Office and Farm Bureau Insurance are sponsoring a crop update meeting Tuesday, Feb. 7. It will be held in room 304 of the Marshall County Building, 112 W. Jefferson Street, Plymouth. It will start at 9:15 a.m. with registration for those utilizing the program as a Private Applicator Recertification Program (PARP). Also, there are continuing educational hours for Certified Crop Advisors. Educational program will start at 10 a.m. and program will conclude at 1 p.m. with lunch being provided.

10 a.m. â€”Â Insect Update, John Obermeyer, Purdue Extension Entomologist, John will include in his presentation rootworm resistant issue to Bt.
10:50 a.m. â€” Nitrogen Management, Jim Camberato, Purdue Extension Agronomist, Jim will share effectiveness of sidedressing N at various stages of corn development, potential tools to evaluate need for supplemental N, and ongoing research at Purdue University to develop economical N rate recommendations.
11:40 a.m. â€”Â Overview of IDEM and OISC Regulations for Crop Production
12 p.m. â€”Â Lunch provided by Farm Bureau Insurance
