Margaret ‘Maggie’ McLaughlin

PLYMOUTH — Margaret J. "Maggie" McLaughlin, 70, of 7472 Savanna Lane, Plymouth, formerly of Crescent City, Calif., passed away at 2:23 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, 2010.
Maggie was born May 2, 1940, in Detroit, Mich., to Harold D. and Catherine I. (Matschikowski) McLaughlin. Maggie retired from Ba Bell as a Supervisor in Los Angeles, Calif. 
She graduated from Plymouth High School with the Class of 1958, and the University of Redlands, in California, in the Class of 1989. Maggie was a member of the Crescent City Kiwanis Club.
She was the founder of the Wild Feline Association of Crescent City, which is an organization that takes in tame and wild felines, has them spayed or neutered, then gives them a sanctuary to live out their natural lives.
Maggie was deeply involved with her family and friends and she DID SO LOVE HER CATS.
Maggie is survived by her two sisters, Beverly (Norm) Haynes of Plymouth, and Sandra (Frank) Staymate of Wheelersburg, Ohio; her niece, Crystal (Bill) Belisle of Plymouth; her nephew, Mike Haynes of Plymouth; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
