Lions lead All-NSC first team with 8 picks

Northern State Conference champion Bremen led the All-NSC squad with eight selections to the first team, while John Glenn was awarded six selections behind Jimtown’s seven, and Culver was given three picks.
Lions offensive backs Nate Leeper and Braxton Miller, offensive lineman Abraham Hall, wide receiver Ben Hueni, tight end Mitch Huppert and kicker Reed Zelmer were all named to the All-NSC first team on offense, while lineman Dillon Mullen, linebacker Andrew Borkholder and defensive back Bobby Cornett were chosen on the defensive team.
Offensive lineman J.J Sears, defensive lineman Robbie Hummel, linebackers Tyler Johnson and Tim Zimmer and defensive back Sean Knepper were each given All-NSC Honorable Mention for the conference champs as well.
Glenn running back Josh Anderson, offensive linemen Ryan Williams and Danny Francis, defensive lineman Charlie Dreessen, linebacker Treavor Duff and defensive back Jon Stewart were honored with first team picks, while for Culver, wide receiver Micah Budzinski, linebacker Kevin Hogan and defensive lineman Matt Hurford were all named to the team.
Anderson was also given all-conference honorable mention at the linebacker position, while Duff was given honorable mention at offensive back, Dreesen was named to the honorable mention team at tight end, and Williams made honorable mention on the defensive line.
Hogan and Collin Stevens were awarded All-NSC Honorable Mention at offensive back for the Cavs, while Hurford was named honorable mention on the offensive line, Josh Ahlenius was given honorable mention at linebacker, and Sam Hissong and Bradley Beaver were both given the honorable mention nomination at defensive back.
Triton’s Zak Shively, Knox’s Jacob Fier and LaVille’s Andrew Hostetler and Levi Lucas were each named to the All-NSC Honorable Mention squad at offensive back, while Drew Fleagle was given honorable mention for Triton on the offensive line, and Knox’s Tyler Keeton was also named. Drew Fleagle, Marc Lindsay, Shelby Wright and Cody Shively were named for the Trojans respectively at offensive line, wide receiver, defensive line and linebacker, and Tyler Keeton, Dylan Short and Hunter McClellan were named for Knox at offensive line, defensive line and linebacker, respectively, for the Redskins.
Named to the All-NSC first team for Jimtown were backs Devan Emerson and Tanner Adams, offensive lineman Kasey Henkler, kicker Drew Zeiger, defensive lineman Casey Adams, linebacker Dustin Chapin and defensive back Emelio Forrest, while for New Prairie offensive lineman Scott Kutz, defensive lineman Dan Kesling and defensive back Cody Carlisle were given first team All-NSC nominations as well.
