Life Enrichment Center hosts 'Health Week' activities

PLYMOUTH —  The Marshall County Council in Aging will offer several activities to the public during "Health Week" at the Life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison St., Plymouth.
Tuesday, Feb. 8 Dr. Carrie Cadwell will be on hand from noon to 2 p.m. to speak on "Understanding Anxiety and Depression in Older Adulthood." 
Wednesday, Feb. 9 Dr. Randazzo will speak at 8:30 a.m., Angie Stopzcynski with the South Bend Medical Foundation will be on hand from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and Ancilla College will offer a blood pressure/glucose reading clinic from 1 to 2 p.m. 
Thursday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. a speaker from Apex Therapy will focus on "Safety in the Home" and Kim Lintner will speak at noon on "Understanding Medicare A - the Hospice Benefit." 
Friday, Feb. 11 Karen Richey of the Marshall County Purdue Cooperative Extension will speak on "Foods that Reduce Cancer Risk." Free refreshments and door prizes will be offered during each activity. For more information call 574-936-9904 or 866-936-9904
