BREMEN — When Nicole Craft last visited Community Hospital of Bremen, she had no idea she was going to give birth to the last baby born at the hospital for the year, or that she would be awarded for it.
Though she wasn’t due until Jan. 3, the Bremen native (and the baby’s father Jerald Standifer) brought Braxtyn Josiah Standifer — weighing in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces and at 19-and-a-half inches long — into the world Dec. 26 of 2011. He was welcomed home by big sister, Shyan Standifer, 1.
Craft said she was surprised to learn (via phone call from the hospital) that H & R Block would be rewarding her with a diaper bag filled with baby care necessities even though she was never a client of the tax service provider.
Bremen H & R Block office tax preparer Joanna Fox presented Craft with the gifts which included a bib reading, “I am a new tax deduction.”
H & R Block is one of the world’s largest tax services providers, with more than 100,000 trained tax professionals and having prepared more than 550 million tax returns worldwide since 1955.
