PLYMOUTH — Landen Sarabia, 15-month-old son of Martin and Savannah Nick Sarabia, died at 11:21 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Landen was born in Plymouth Nov. 8, 2009. Landen was born a very happy baby.
He enjoyed playing with his brothers even though he was very young he enjoyed teasing and instigating them. His favorite toys were his “Excersaucer” and “Johnny Jumper” (when someone helped). Landen was also a big fan of food but yet not as much as his bottle. Most of all, Landen enjoyed sleeping and spending time with his mommy and nana. Landen had a few nicknames. Some of which include “Squarehead” given by family friend, Kyle Lawson (Ogre) and “Beaner Baby” given by his mommy. Landen will be greatly loved and missed by many.
He is survived by his parents, Martin and Savannah; two brothers, Noah Nick and Logan Sarabia, all of Plymouth; maternal grandparents, Mary Atkins and Faron Atkins of Plymouth; great-grandmother, Pauline Atkins of Plymouth; an uncle, Brian Nick of Bremen; and three aunts: Sasha Keplerof Bourbon, Samantha Atkins of Plymouth, and Nicole Wallace of South Bend.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the New Oakhill Cemetery Chapel, Plymouth, where funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Steve Patrick, will be held at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Memorial gifts may be made to the family.
