Lady Rockies drop NLC contest 2-0

September 13, 2010

PLYMOUTH — Despite an even 7-7 shot margin, Plymouth fell 2-0 in a Northern Lakes Conference girls soccer match with Northridge at home at Kindt Field Saturday.
Northridge’s speed proved to be a difference-maker in the contest.
“We’re certainly not the quickest team. We rely on possession ball and we rely on the ability to make good runs and for players to check to the ball,” said Plymouth head coach Joe Morris. “Against a team like this that does a good job of using their speed, we’ve got to be smarter, and we’ve got to play really, really precise soccer.”
