Lady Lancers score league-high six picks to All-NSC list

LAKEVILLE — The LaVille girls soccer team was awarded a league-high six All-Northern State Conference picks after the Lady Lancers’ repeat NSC championship this fall.
Heather Roeder and Grace Ingle were named All-NSC forwards, Nina Zeiger was nominated in the midfield, Danielle Romano and Breanna Dejarnett were named in the backfield, and Kyleigh Breden was named all-conference in goal for LaVille, which finished its NSC slate at 5-1.
Bremen was given three first team picks and an honorable mention, and John Glenn received two first team selections and two honorable mention picks as the Lady Lions and the Falcons both finished the conference at 3-3.
For Bremen, Jasmine Shafer was named on offense, Claire Schmidt was selected in the midfield, and Kristine Gingerich was named on defense, while Marisa Browning received an all-conference honorable mention.
Katie Dreesen was selected at midfield, and Stephanie Dreesen was chosen at goalie for Glenn, while teammates Elizabeth Buck and Elizabeth Dodson were given honorable mention.
Culver finished the NSC season in last place with a record of 1-5 but was given three first team selections and an honorable mention nomination.
Kayla Shaffer was named at forward, Shakkira Harris was chosen at mid, and Abby James was named for the Lady Cavalier defense. Denisha Brown was chosen for the honorable mention list.
