Ladies Night Out March 3
PLYMOUTH — Tri Kappa will be hosting its Ladies Night Out event Thursday, March 3. With this year’s theme “Take Me To The Fair” this evening will offer a Country Fair buffet including braised country pot roast, corn on the cob, homemade pies and more. Some of the donated prizes available to win include: a Longaberger quilted bag, a Living History "Marshall County Pictorial History 1945-95," a South Bend Silver Hawks suite package for 20 people, five tanning sessions, and more. The night also has “tip” games planned with some of the prizes being a jewelry box with a Kameleon necklace, ring, and earrings from Fernbaughs; two homemade quilts; and cash.
This year’s grand prize donated by U.S. Granules, is a two-night stay at the Conrad in Indianapolis, and includes a deluxe room, valet parking, taxes, breakfast both days in the Capital Grille, plus $400 Macy's gift cards. Everyone who buys a ticket and is present March 3 is eligible to win.
Tickets are $35 per person, which includes the buffet. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the Christos Banquet Center at 830 Lincolnway, Plymouth. Tickets can be purchased at the ReMax Office 507 E. Jefferson St., Plymouth; The Plymouth Foundry 523 W. Harrison, Plymouth; and the PNC Bank on Michigan Street, Plymouth. Tickets will be available until March 1 and will not be sold at the door.
Tri Kappa uses this night to raise money for its charitable programs, like Center for Hospice Care, the Marshall County Neighborhood Center and more.
This year, Ladies Night Out is in honor of Margaret Sherwood, longtime Tri Kappa member, who for many years ran the project of Covered Wagons that was presented to all area fifth graders taking Indiana History.
The object of the Kappa Kappa Kappa organization is to bring women into close, unselfish relationships for the promotion of charity, culture and education.
