ARGOS — Katelin “Katie” Grace Sexton, 10, of Argos died Dec. 14, 2012 at 6:10 p.m. at U.S. 31 south of County Road 375N following an automobile accident.
She was born Jan. 24, 2002 in Plymouth to Ed Sexton and Leesa (Taylor) Sexton.
She had lived in Argos for the last year and a half coming from Fulton.
Katie was a member of the Irish Youth Hockey League in South Bend; she was a former member of the Cass County Seals and Plymouth Sharks youth swimming programs. She was a member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church, Culver.
She attended Argos Elementary School until this year starting home school.
She is survived by her father – Ed Sexton of Argos; her twin sister – Sarah Sexton and sister Emma Sexton both of Argos; grandmother – Kathleen Sexton of Bishop, Calif.; and several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents – Lee and Shirley Taylor; grandfather – Jerome E. Sexton; and her mother Leesa Sexton.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Argos High School Auditorium, 500 Yearick St., Argos.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 19, 2012 at the Argos High School Auditorium, with Rev. Msgr Father Thadeus Balinda officiating.
A graveside service will take place 1 p.m. Thursday Dec. 20, 2012 at the Strong Cemetery, County Road 800 E., Albany, IN 47320.
