ARGOS — John A. Crum, age 68, of Argos, passed away at 4:15 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family.
John was born May 2, 1944, in Plymouth, to Annis V. and Grace (McKesson) Crum. John married the former Vicki L. Lyons, on July 24, 1965. Together they raised their two sons, Ty and Jeff. John was a local contractor, known for building many residential homes, in the Marshall County area. John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. John and Vicki enjoyed traveling together and shared many memorable trips with his family.
John is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Vicki L. Crum; their sons, Ty A. Crum of Leiters Ford and Jeff J. (DeDe) Crum of Culver; four grandchildren, Kassandra, Ashley, Matthew, and Mikey; his sister, Roseland Arndt of Wyoming; his brothers, Paul (Loraine) Crum of Culver and Ned “Butch” (Diane) Crum of Kentucky. John was preceded in death by his sister, Peg Morris; and his brothers, Dick Crum, Le Roy Crum, and Bruce Crum.
