Jessen named chamber president
PLYMOUTH — The Ply-mouth area Chamber of Commerce announced its newly-elected Chamber President, Ryan Jessen.
Jessen joined PNC Bank in 2007 as an assistant vice president and business banking officer in Kosciusko County, but now is located at the Plymouth branch.
His professional education consists of a bachelor’s degree in Management from Saint Joseph’s College and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Bethel College.
His community involvement includes his being a board member of the Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce; board member of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce (2011 Board President); board member of The Baker Youth Club; board member of the Warsaw Masonic Lodge #73 (treasurer); member of Rotary International; and a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Culver.
A native of Porter County, Jessen was a 10-Year 4-H member of the Morgan Township Sodbusters.
He competed in beef, swine, rabbit and poultry programs; winning Porter County’s Grand Champion Steer in 1997.
He has lived in Plymouth since 2004, with his wife of five years, Amy, and 4-year-old son, Preston.
The Chamber invites its members to a “Meet-and-Greet” Tuesday, Jan. 25, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Chamber office, located at 120 N. Michigan St. in downtown Plymouth.
