KNOX — James E. Dilts Jr., 89, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 in his home. 
He is survived by daughters: Carol McGrew, Dawn McGrew and Debi (Michael) Bailey, all of Knox; one son, Dennis (Rose) McGrew of Plymouth; three grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Harrell of Hamlet and Fern Bane of Kentucky; and one brother, William Dilts of Knox. 
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (CST) Saturday, Sept. 4 at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Eagle Creek Cemetery, Knox, where military graveside services will be conducted.
