Investigation ongoing in rape case

MARSHALL CO. — The Marshall County Sheriff's Department received a call shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday from a 21-year-old female who was on foot in the area of Rose Road and Mill Pond Trail.
Officers spoke with the woman and determined that non-consensual sex had occurred between her and Wayne M. Davis, 25, who lived nearby.
The investigation is still ongoing.

Isnt everyone innocent until proven guilty?! That is the way it is supposed to be. And where is the protection for men? Any girl can just claim rape what are the repercussions for a liar?! The same thing as what he has gone through...jail and reputation ruined...that seems fair.
