“Howard never met a stranger. He had a joke or story for every occasion and relished sharing them. Howard’s best moments were spent recalling early memories from school and farm life. He took particular pride recalling successes of his family, and was especially fond of reunions where all his children came together. Howard wore many hats, but his most cherished role was that of a family man.”
“Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;”
