Home across from elementary school raided by police

April 2, 2013

PLYMOUTH — Two people were jailed early Tuesday morning when Plymouth Police and Indiana State Police raided a meth house directly across from Webster Elementary School.
Shortly before 6 a.m., members of the Indiana State Police Emergency Response Section and the Meth Suppression Unit raided a home in Plymouth acting on a search warrant that had been obtained earlier in the week. Officers located a semi automatic rifle, remnants of a meth lab, and other drug paraphernalia at 1112 S. Michigan Road. Two subjects, including a juvenile, were at the home at the time the warrant was served. Both of these individuals were questioned and released. The two suspects in the case, Peter Devine, 34, and Tricia Eckert, 26, both live at the S. Michigan Road house. Both Devine and Eckert returned to the house after they were contacted by police. Devine was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant out of Marshall County for theft and driving while suspended. In addition, both Devine and Eckert now face Class A felony charges for dealing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school. Both subjects were taken to the Marshall County Jail and are being held without bond.
