Holiday lights, movies, and more: weekend events in Marshall County

FRIDAY
Plymouth Church of the Heartland, 705 E. Jefferson St., will hold its Christmas service at 6:30 p.m. The title of the service is "A Not So Silent Night — finding the Prince of Peace in the midst of your chaos." The service will feature christmas hymns, a children's concert, live drama, relevant teaching, fellowship and finger foods. For more information, visit www.churchoftheheartland.com.
SATURDAY
The residents of the Nutmeg Ridge subdivision in Plymouth invite everyone to come out to view the homes which have been decorated for the holiday season. The streets of the subdivision will be lined with luminaries to give additional holiday spirit to go along with the many homes that have been decorated with lights, nativity scenes, and many other traditional holiday favorites. The Nutmeg Ridge subdivision is located south of Plymouth between Muckshaw and Nutmeg Roads, south of Menominee Elementary School. Those who wish to tour the subdivision can turn on to Nutmeg Ridge Drive from either Muckshaw Road from the east or Nutmeg Road from the west.
SUNDAY
The Walnut Church of the Brethren will hold regular Sunday service at 9 a.m. Please note time change, service will be one hour early due to the holiday.
