High wind advisory in effect until 8 p.m.

March 7, 2012

MARSHALL COUNTY — The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Marshall County, effective until 8 p.m. Sustained winds of 25-35 miles per hour with gusts of 45 mph are expected, with the highest wind gusts likely in the afternoon.
Loose objects such as trash cans should be secured or brought indoors. Large tree limbs and utility lines may break, and small trees could be uprooted. RVs, campers, and semi trailers may be difficult to drive.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reminds everyone to avoid down power lines and be careful around down trees and tree limbs as they may hide down power lines.
