Lions flea market, breakfast, bake sale Saturday

The Culver Lions Club’s annual Spring Fest, including a pancake and sausage breakfast, bake sale, and flea market will be Saturday, May 1 at the railroad station in the town park.Breakfast is from 6 to 11 a.m., the bake sale from 7 to 11 a.m., and the flea market from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Max Players auditions Saturday

The Maxinkuckee Players will hold auditions for "Nunsense - the Mega-Musical" Saturday, May 7 at the Culver High School choir room. Auditions will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, 1 - 4 p.m., and 5 - 9 p.m. Be prepared to sing a song of your choice and read from the script.

Pie sale this wkd.

The Ladies Society of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Culver will offer home-baked pies after each Mass this weekend, including Saturday’s 4:30 p.m. service, as well as Sunday’s 7:30 and 11 a.m. services.

Kiwanis-Collins-Marina bass tournament May 7

The Culver Kiwanis-Collins & Co.-Marina team charity bass tournament on Lake Maxinkuckee will take place Saturday, May 7. Entry fee is $70 per team if the entry is received by April 15 ($80 per team if paid the day of the tournament). Tournament hours are from legal sunrise (6:30 a.m.) to 2:30 p.m. Weigh-in and release of fish will begin at 2:30 at the Culver Marina. Cash prizes will be awarded after the weigh-in.
