Ladies Auxiliary dinner tonight

The Ladies Auxiliary of Culver’s VFW Post 6919 is serving a choice of steak or seafood platter, in addition to the open menu, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Friday, Mar 25. The public is welcome to the dinner.

Annual VFW fish fry Saturday

Culver’s VFW Post 6919 is sponsoring, with the assistance of Culver Fire, EMS and Police Depts., an all-you-can-eat fish fry to benefit the Culver Food Pantry, Saturday, March 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $4 for children 12 and under and $8 for adults.

Odd Fellows breakfast Saturday

The Maxinkuckee Odd Fellows Lodge #373 will hold its All you can eat Pancakes and Sausage, Biscuits and Gravy breakfast Saturday, Mar 26, from 6 a.m. to noon, at the corner of 18B and Pine Roads, Culver. Cost is $6 adults, and $4 children. The event will also feature the Rebekah Country Store.

‘Soup for the Soul’ Tuesday

The student-led “Soup for the Soul” community event takes place Tuesday, March 29, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Culver Elementary School. CES 6th graders create hand-made pottery in which community-donated soup is served to diners from the community, who then take home and keep the student-made items. A silent auction and other events are part of the evening, which raises money for several local charities.

Community meal at St. Mary’s Wednesday

St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church’s monthly community meal will take place Wednesday, March 30. On the 30th day or each month, a community meal will be provided for anyone interested in attending. St. Mary of the Lake is located at 124 College Avenue in Culver. Questions may be directed to 574-842-2522.
