BOURBON — Bremen put up season-high rushing numbers and nearly perfect passing numbers while stymying host Triton's run game in a 42-6 win in Bourbon Friday.
After rushing for a season-high 299 yards at home last week, the Lions turned it up another notch Friday with 380 yards on the ground in Bourbon. Junior Grant Klockow, coming off a career night versus the Falcons, rushed for a game-high 162 yards in just 11 carries, scoring touchdowns from 15 and 56 yards out in the second and third quarters. Senior Brett Louderback chewed up 140 yards in 16 rushes and also scored a pair of touchdowns — a 9-yarder to put Bremen on the board at the 4:35 stop of the first quarter and a 5-yarder that brought the score to its final margin with 2:10 remaining in the third quarter.
Even freshman running back Nathan Mullen got in on the action late, gaining 53 yards in four carries before he was hurt with 9:31 left to play.
Bremen held Triton star running back Jeremy Jones to only 37 yards on 17 carries. Jordan Anderson showed improvement in his passing game with a 5-for-7 completion rate for 52 yards, including a TD connection with fellow first-year player Yeo from 7 yards out that cut the Trojans’ deficit to 14-6 at the 9:17 mark of the second frame.

CMA rallied from an initial 3-0 deficit with two touchdowns in the second quarter and never trailed again en route to the win.
In his first start at quarterback, Zach Moffett eclipsed the century mark both in rushing and passing on his way to three touchdowns. His 27-yard TD strike to Ryan Hallenbeck in the second quarter provided the Eagles with the go-ahead score, and his two rushing scores in the third quarter pushed his team out to a comfortable 29-3 cushion.
David Pumarejo came down with two interceptions and made three extra-point kicks for CMA, and Connor Caponi returned a blocked punt 12 yards for the Eagles’ second score of the night.
