The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch until 8 p.m. Thursday for Marshall County.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move towards the area late tonight, according to the NWS.
There is still some uncertainty with the exact track of the thunderstorms, the NWS said.
The best potential for heavy rainfall will be south of US-30. There is also a chance for severe thunderstorms, with the main threat damaging winds, mainly west of US-31 during the overnight hours, according to the NWS.
