First art class offered at new Culver studio

Painter and sculptor David deVillier, whose work is represented in galleries and in private collections across the country, has recenntly moved to the Culver area and will be offering a series of classes, lessons, and seminars to area residents 15 and over.

Art Today with David deVillier begins Saturday, January 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, with the first class centered on drawing and titled "Drawing from Your Imagination." Future areas of interest will include oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor, drawing, mulitmedia work, and sculpture. All materials will be provided.

The class fee is $95, and the studio is located at 12983 State Road 17 (the blue "castle" building on the corner of State Roads 8 and 17).

David deVillier holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Louisiana State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Yale University.
