Festival coordinator announces parade winners

PLYMOUTH — Sherrie Martin, Marshall County Blueberry Festival Coordinator, recently announced this year’s parade winners.
“(The parade) went off without a hitch and we got a lot of complements on it,” commented Martin.
The theme for the parade this year was “A World of Possibilities.”
The Judges Award went to number 56, Four Flags Apple Festival. The auto/truck antique (50 years old and older) winner was number 58, a 1926 Model Roaster. The auto/truck classic (25 to 50 years old) winner was number 89, John and Pattie Coyer. The tractor antique (25 years old and older) winner was number 59, a 1951 Allis Chalmers. The auto/truck club winner was number 32, Hoosier Old Wheels. The color guard winner was number three, National Color Guard. The miscellaneous motorized unit winner was number 92, Green Township Lions Train. The military unit — marching or motorized winner was number 76, Culver Girls Academy Drill Team.
The tumbling unit/cheerleading winner was number 52, Jana’s Gymnastics.
The baton unit winner was number 25, Daphne’s Dolls. The horse unit winner was number 45, the Marshall County Horse Association. The float winner was number 56, Four Flags Apple Festival.
The theme award was number 15, Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. The president award was number 75, area teachers and school employees.
