Falcons power past Cavs in 2nd half

October 9, 2010

WALKERTON — Happy Homecoming, John Glenn.
After a nip-tuck first half, the Falcons took over the momentum just seconds before halftime and positively dominated the second half, beating Class A No. 9 Culver by a safe 35-14 margin. Meanwhile down the road, Bremen gave Glenn a little help in its hopes to claim its first Northern State Conference title in nearly 30 years with a 25-14 win over visiting Jimtown to bring the Falcons even with the Jimmies at 6-1 in the NSC standings.
“Obviously Bremen is doing some things it looks on offense, and we’re going to sit down and watch film and break down some things... but with that being said I like my team,” said Glenn head football coach Justin Bogunia. “I like all my guys on my team this year. I was thinking about this the other day earlier this week. Is there a guy that I’d take out and maybe have somebody else? There’s not. My guys are pretty solid across the front, and we’ve got some good skill kids.”
