Falcons, Cavs meet in big NSC showdown

WALKERTON — Coming off back-to-back losses against Knox and Jimtown, the Culver Cavaliers (5-2, 3-2 NSC) jump out of the frying pan and into the fire this week with a game at Northern State Conference foe John Glenn (6-1, 4-1 NSC).
In fact, Culver head coach Andy Thomas sees some parallels between the Jimmies and the Falcons, who were handed their only loss this season by Jimtown.
“We’ve got to match their speed and intensity,” said Thomas. “They’re another team that plays fast, and they fly around on both sides of the ball, and we have to come out and do the same thing from the opening kick-off.
