Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department teaming up with Toys for Tots

December 4, 2012

ELKHART — The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department is asking the community for help this year. It requests that members of the community help by donating a new unwrapped toy to the Toys for Tots collection drive.
The toy cannot be a realistic looking weapon or a gift that contains food. The public may bring in toys from now until Dec. 7 to drop off in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center during normal business hours or the lobby of the Correctional Complex during their business hours.
All toys collected will be given to the United States Marine Corp Reserves as part of their annual toy collection drive and given to Elkhart County families in need for Christmas.
