Downtown Merchants host annual trick or treat event

October 28, 2013

PLYMOUTH — The annual trick or treat event with a costume parade was successful again, with lines of children dressed in Halloween costumes filling their bags with candy handed out by the businesses in downtown Plymouth.

The event started off with the costume parade, followed by two solid hours of serious trick or treating. Despite the cold and windy conditions, good spirits prevailed and the event wrapped up at 3 p.m. with no problems.

At the Plymouth Public Library, business was brisk for their open house. Volunteers were stationed at various games, helping children have fun the weekend before Halloween.

Photos of both events are featured in today's edition of the Pilot News. Additional photos will be posted online and available for sale by Wednesday.
