MEDARYVILLE — Ruth E. Tanner, 81, of Medaryville died Sept. 1, 2012 at 1:10 a.m. at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Tanner of Medaryville; daughters, Charlene (Ron) Warner of Princeton, Patrice (Terry) Freestone of Dickinson, Texas, Kathy (Bruce) Wuethrich of Rensselaer, Margaret (Doug) Leman of Francesville, Marsha (Richard) Jurek of Naperville, Ill.; sons, Raymond Tanner of Medaryville, Jerry (Cathy) Tanner of West Lafayette, Richard (Darlene) Tanner of Francesville, Douglas (Suzanne) Tanner of Phoenix, Ariz.; 27 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Clayton of Kouts; and two brothers, William Watson of La Porte, Ben Watson of Paulding, Ohio.
Funeral service was held at Medaryville Christian Church, Medaryville, Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation was from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel, Medaryville, and one hour before the service Tuesday in the church.
Burial took place at White Post Cemetery, Medaryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family.

Judith K. Spaulding

ROCHESTER — Judith K. Spaulding, 63, of Rochester, died at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at her home.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carey Spaulding and Amanda Spaulding both of Noblesville; and her mother, Clara Mae Wilson of Rochester. 
Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Visitation is from 4:30 p.m. until the hour of the service. Condolences may be left at www.goodfamilyfh.com.

Rebecca M. Loness
Sept. 1, 2012
SOUTH BEND — Rebecca Marie Loness, 28, of South Bend and formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn. died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 in Plymouth.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Loness of South Bend; three children, Neaveh Foster, Summer Swiger and Michael Swiger; her mother, Lillian Goodenough of Portland Ore.; grandparents, John and Anita Hendrix of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one brother, Joshua Goodenough of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one sister, Christina Avery of Portland, Ore. As per her wishes cremation has taken place.
There will be a memorial service Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, 408 Roosevelt Road, Walkerton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

James ‘Donald’ Keister

PLYMOUTH — James “Donald” Keister, 84, died in the E.R. of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth at 11:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Fran; two sons, Jim (Linda) Keister of Plymouth, John (Beth) Keister of Vernon Hills, Ill.; and six grandchildren. 
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Visitation will continue in the church one hour prior to services.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church, 400 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Burial will follow in the New Oakhill Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be made to the church or the Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation.

WAKARUSA — Donald D. Hahn, 68, of Wakarusa, died at 12:35 a.m., Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; a daughter, Lisa Kite, Elkhart; sons, Chad (Amy) Hahn, Wakarusa, Darren Hahn, Goshen; five grandchildren; sisters, Jane Bailey, Middlebury, Mary Hahn Wakarusa, Ruthann Hahn, Elkhart; and brothers, Sam and Dan (Gail) Hahn, both of Nappanee.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa.

ELKHART — Billy Royce Ashby Sr., 60, of Elkhart, formerly of Nappanee, died at 6:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 at his residence of natural causes.
He is survived by his mother, Annie Mae Ashby, Goshen; son, Paul Russell (Paisha) Ashby, Nappanee; daughters, Twila Marie (Marvin Jr.) Kleitz, Elkhart, April Dawn Stuller, Nappanee; three grandchildren; sister, Sherry Lynn (Gary D.) Hill, Elkhart; and brother, Dick Eugene Ashby, Goshen.
Visitation is Friday from 12 to 3 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Billy Ashby funeral fund.
